Hitchcock ISD Launches Exclusive Online Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year

Hitchcock, TX – Hitchcock Independent School District is excited to announce the rollout of online registration system for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Using Skyward’s Online Registration we are able to streamline the process, making it easier and more efficient for families to register students.

Starting this year, registration for all new and returning students will be conducted exclusively online. To assist families in this transition, Hitchcock ISD will offer designated days in June and July where parents can come to our school libraries for assistance from trained aides.

Key Points About Online Registration:

• Exclusive Online Platform: All student registrations will be handled through our Skyward Family Access system. This allows parents to manage their child’s information securely and efficiently.
• Support Available: For families needing assistance with the online process, computers and aides will be available in school libraries on specific days in June and July listed below.
• Preparation Tips:
  • Ensure you have your Skyward Family Access login details. If you're unsure of your login information, you can reset your password or retrieve your username through Skyward.
  • Use a computer for registration to avoid issues with mobile displays.
  • Prepare all required documents, such as birth certificates, proof of residence, and immunization records, by scanning or photographing them before starting the registration process.

Important Dates:

• Registration Opens: Monday, May 20, 2024
• In-Library Assistance Days: June 11-13, 2024 & July 23-25, 2024 

Documents Required for Registration of New Students to the District:

• Legal birth certificate
• Student’s social security card
• Proof of residency (current utility bill or lease agreement)
• Immunization record (if transferring from out of state, if in state we can access them through ImmTrac)
• Copy of driver’s license from parent/guardian enrolling the student)
• Last report card (all grade levels) and transcript (for high school students)

• The application for out-of-district transfers is available on our website. Please submit completed applications and required documents to the campus where you are wanting to enroll your child.

Kids First Head Start Enrollment:

For families interested in enrolling their preschool-aged children in our Kids First Head Start program, please note that this process requires in-person registration.
