Hitchcock ISD Extends Gratitude for HISD Education Foundation Support at Annual PAWS Patrol Parade

The Hitchcock Independent School District (HISD) is extending heartfelt appreciation to the Hitchcock Education Foundation for its unwavering support showcased at the annual PAWS Patrol Parade held on April 24, 2024.
The PAWS Patrol Parade serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts between the HISD Education Foundation, local businesses, and individuals, aimed at fostering innovation and educational excellence within our district. Through the dedicated contributions of HISD Education Foundation and its community partners, a total of $74,729.78 in grants were successfully allocated to HISD campuses this year.
These grants are instrumental in funding a diverse array of enriching programs and activities, empowering our students to explore various fields such as STEM, robotics, alternative seating and sensory rooms, dyslexia learning centers, and much more. Noteworthy initiatives include the establishment of classroom greenhouses, BBQ cook-off teams, photography workshops, outdoor learning experiences, and so much more.
The Hitchcock ISD Education Foundation also supports HISD through the Promises Scholarship, ensuring that all graduating seniors from Hitchcock High School have the opportunity to pursue higher education at the College of the Mainland tuition-free.
Monica Cantrell, Executive Director of the Hitchcock ISD Education Foundation, stated, "It is our sincere pleasure to support the dedicated staff and talented students of HISD. Their unwavering commitment to excellence continually inspires us, and we remain steadfast in our mission to provide them with the resources needed to thrive."
