The Hitchcock Fire Department has concluded its investigation of an unknown odor at Stewart Elementary. It has been determined to be a faulty switch and the situation has been resolved. Normal operations have resumed.

The Hitchcock Fire Department is currently on-site at Stewart Elementary School investigating an odor on the premises. There is no threat of fire or any other imminent danger to students or staff at this time.

The Hitchcock Independent School District is pleased to announce it has received its Accountability Ratings from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) based on the 2021-22 school year.
